uReach's Unified Messaging application gives subscribers the ability to retrieve and send voice, fax, and email messages from a single, familiar interface, including mobile phone, fixed network phone, or personal computer.

Traditional communications systems deliver messages into several different message stores: voicemail, e-mail, and stand-alone fax machines. With uReach's Unified Messaging application, all messages are stored on one system. Voicemail messages, for example, can be delivered directly into your inbox, or to your handset via MMS. With any standard POP3 or IMAP email client, you see your voicemails right alongside your regular emails. Your faxes are also in the same, unified inbox allowing you to communicate more efficiently.

This is all built on a carrier-grade IMS solution that seamlessly integrates into existing and next-generation networks.

Messaging
The Unified Messaging application provides the subscriber with a place to receive their voicemail, email, and fax messages and retrieve them when and how they choose. These options range from "push" capabilities as well as the ability to support a converged environment where the subscriber maintains one mailbox with different personas based on either calling or called numbers.
Phone, Web, Wireless Access
Now your subscribers can access their messages however they choose and are no longer tied to a specific device to retrieve messages and manage their settings. Your subscribers' voice messaging accounts become their centralized location to administer their availability and messaging personas to their callers. Their account access is not impacted by their location, whether they are at home, at work, or on the road.
Multi-Channel Message Notification
Using uReach's notification and filtering capabilities, your subscriber have total control on how and where their messages and message notifications are received. With uReach, messaging is no longer a disruptive activity interfering with your subscribers' lifestyle. Your subscribers decide whether to receive their message notifications via email, SMS, or even IM. Additionally, the voice messages themselves can be delivered by MMS, email, or SMS transcriptions.
Email and Calendar
Now your subscribers can access their email and calendar from any device (Web, Web-enabled Wireless phones and PDAs, as well as Wireline and Wireless phones). uReach's Email and Calendar application supports POP3 or IMAP email. Additional capabilities include; Spam Control & Virus Protection, E-mail by Phone, Address Book, Calendar, File Storage, Reminder Calls, Virtual Fax, and PIM Synchronization. Additionally, your subscribers can manage email from multiple accounts in their Unified Messaging inbox.
Virtual Fax
Faxing becomes a snap with UM. The Unified Messaging mailbox receives faxes and notifies you via your preferred method. Your subscribers are no longer tied to a physical location when expecting an important or confidential fax. Faxes can be stored in the UM inbox or forwarded to another email. From the inbox, faxes can be printed or forwarded to a physical machine (such as at a hotel). Sending a fax is as simple as uploading a document and addressing it to any fax number worldwide.
Speech Enabled Option
With many municipalities passing laws requiring the use of hands-free devices while using mobile devices in cars; uReach now extends the capabilities of the tradition voicemail box and allows the subscribers to navigate through the menus using voice commands.
